POSITION SUMMARY
The 3D printing industry is one of the most exciting and fast-growing industries in the world today and Polymaker is part of the momentum. Polymaker develops, produces, and markets high-value materials for 3D printing. Our company is growing fast and can be described as young, open and energetic. Polymaker has been active in the US since 2013. We have built up a network of channel partners who serve end users from all over the States. Out of our new Houston office, we currently manage the sales, marketing, and operations for the North American region. The Junior Accountant is a key role in our strategic expansion plan and is responsible for maintaining and upgrading our compliant booking and accounting practices. The Junior Accountant works closely with the accounting team based in China, standardizing AR, AP, and asset management processes. This role directly reports to General Manager and works closely with other members of the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
• Process payment requests through ERP (e.g. Ali Ding Ding), follow the expenditure approval process and issue payment in a timely and accurate manner to vendor
• Manage reimbursement compliancesWork with the accounting team in booking and managing fixed asset
• Support the period-end close, including AR, and AP reports
• Manage the reconciliation of AR and AP with the sales and purchasing department
• Prepare production statistics, including man-hours, raw material consumption, and finished good creation
• Create monthly inventory reports and regularly audit inventory data
• Collect and report accounting data in 3rd party auditing firms
Preferred Experience Background
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related majors
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a must
• 1 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing enterprise
• Technical knowledge of US GAAP
• Knowledge of ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or Odoo)Highly proficient in MS office applications
• Able to effectively and timely communicate with Chinese teams
